Senate
The Senate is the central decision-making body of the university. It decides, among other things, on the legal regulations of the LMU (basic regulations, especially study regulations), fundamental decisions on science and teaching and decides on the actual appointment of professors.
There are two student representatives in the Senate, who are elected by the convent of the student councils.
