CIP pools
The following CIP pools are available:
- Mathematics, Business Mathematics: Theresienstrasse 37–41, BU135 and BU136, spiral staircase down
- Physics, meteorology: Schellingstraße 4 ground floor, H037 and H022
- Media informatics, computer science: Oettingenstraße 67, BU102, LU112, LU114 and LU117 (basement and barracks)
- Additional media informatics: Amalienstraße 17, EG
- For everyone: Theresienstrasse 37–41, 1st floor B115
The printer quota is 500 pages per semester, for informatics 600z. Some CIP pools also have color printers, whose quota is smaller. Physicists can find printer accounting here.
Eduroam
You can find out how to configure the worldwide university WiFi on the LRZ website. You can find the required LRZ ID in your campus account under "User account" -> "E-mail settings".
E-media
Many e-books, papers and scientific journals from well-known scientific publishers are available free of charge to LMU members. If you visit the websites of the corresponding publications, the publishers ask you to buy. However, if you visit the website via the university library's e-media login, the works are available for download free of charge.
Microsoft Dreamspark
Physics and computer science studies (also in the minor subject) receive many Microsoft product licenses free of charge, including Windows, Visual Studio and many Microsoft Office components, via Microsoft DreamSpark (formerly MSDNAA). Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Physicists have access here, computer scientists here.
